Volunteer with us

Friday Feast is one of Seattle's longest running community meals. Every Friday, for nearly 30 years, our staff has worked with an army of dedicated volunteers to turn donated food and supplies into a restaurant quality meal for our neighbors in need. Now, as in the beginning, Friday Feast guests often play integral roles in the production and execution of every meal.

Chapel on the Ave Garage. The garage is accessed via the alley behind the chapel, between 41st and 42nd street.

Service Time

Set up: 3:00pm - 5:00pm

Dinner Service: 5:00pm - 7:00pm

Clean Up: 6:45pm - 7:15pm

Volunteer Responsibilities

Volunteers assist with setting up for the meal, sorting produce, serving the meal and cleaning up. Volunteers are also highly encouraged to sit with the guests and enjoy a meal, ask questions, listen and make a new friend in the community.
